Voxelmaps Inc is seeking an experienced Project Manager for AI Data Collection projects. You will manage all aspects of assigned projects, including but not limited to, bidding on new projects, manage operational and logistical budgets and be the overall POC to delivery. You will act as liaison between the end client and various departments within the Company, and coordinate all components of the region’s work, from the beginning to the end.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 5 years proven experience planning and coordinating sophisticated, cross-functional programs from initiation to delivery in the software/technology field
• 5 years of project/program management experience in a large engineering org, working with application design, integration, and deployment in a global environment
• 5 years of upper-level leadership roles in a large company environment or military senior leadership role (E8 and above or Commissioned Officers O4 and above are ideal)
• Solid understanding of the full Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) process including comprehending business and functional requirements, developing detailed technical designs, and implementing testable solutions when needed
• Solid ability to understand and develop new engineering solutions to drive repeatable realization of products and programs
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to zoom in to a specific feature or functionality and then zoom out to explain the way this feature or functionality connects to the bigger product or program
• Extraordinary influencer who is outstanding at connecting the dots at the organization, strategy, program and project levels (former senior level military leadership a great fit)
• Comfortable working with, presenting to, and facilitating decisions among senior leaders and executives based on evolving priorities. Able to ask the right questions and challenge status quo
• Shown strength in the position of leadership. Ability to mobilize, encourage, and lead teams without direct management authority. Ability to lead teams of both internal and external cross-functional partners
• Expert knowledge of program/project management tools such as strategic frameworks, change management, dependency management, and risk management
• Coordinate and manage accounts with third party service providers, like car rental agencies and ride-share services
• Monitor and keep the team apprised of changing COVID-19 restrictions in all collection regions
• Supervise and coordinate the efforts of the In-Field Coordinators for the region
• Responsible for top-down training from sponsors and clients to managers and field staff
• Coordinate the work of the regional data validation team to ensure that data meets client specifications
• Monitor ongoing operations/logistics for unforeseen challenges, Risk Mitigations and implement solutions
• Maintain constant communication with client and internal departments (PMO) regarding any necessary deviations from the project plan
• Produce, review and send progress and status reports to the Project Director and others.
• Maintain and track all project expenses weekly

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project Managers are responsible to ensure that their regions are running on schedule and according to client specifications. This may require the Project Manager to assist with the training and supervising of all data collection staff.

OFFICE SKILLS
Knowledge of project management platforms like Tableau, Monday.com, or Dropbox is preferred. The successful candidates will have broad skills in spreadsheet and presentation software with a focus on accurate and timely reporting.

This is a work-from-home remote position. Occasional travel may be required.

Salary range: $120-$130k, paid semi-monthly
