* Responsible for maintaining all of the programs buildings, grounds, equipments, vehicles, etc. in good working order. Act as lead maintenance staff in assigned facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain all buildings, grounds, equipment, vehicles, properties, etc. of the program so that the
total physical environment is conducive to the goals of the program.
• Know, understand and implement department and agency policies, rules and procedures.
• May assist with property turnover procedures.
• Effectively communicate with other departments and program employees on matters related to
work responsibilities.
• Be involved in meetings called by supervisor to address concerns/issues needing attention.
• Responsible for inventory control of maintenance supplies and utilization of maintenance
equipment.
• In conjunction with the supervisor, orientates and inform new maintenance workers of basic
responsibilities and procedures.
• Provides instruction, training, and modeling to maintenance workers.
• Responsible for assigning and scheduling of duties of maintenance workers.
• Assist with maintenance workers reviews when possible.
• Continue education in the technical and building code advancement areas.
• Required to take a call to protect assets 24-hours a day.
• Be familiar with codes affecting structures, including OSHA, ADA, ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC and local
codes.
• Act in capacity of lead for assigned site.
• Assures program participant privacy is maintained by being knowledgeable and following HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
• Must be able to work regularly scheduled working hours.
• Possible overtime.
