The Gig  

A Quality Assurance Engineer?partners closely with Product to understand the spirit of the customer experience; develop and distills this into test plans and test cases. Create tests that identify issues with software before a product launch. You will maintain the quality standards of the software at every stage and ensure the final product meets requirements.

• Monitors every phase of the software development process, including design, development, testing, debugging, and delivery. 
• Execute both manual and automated test scripts. 
• Keep track of quality metrics. 
• Analyze test results to predict user behavior, identify bugs and suggest solutions to minimize problems. 
• Communicate with stakeholders to understand and clarify software requirements. 
• Works closely with software developers to enhance and improve programs. 
• Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience. 
• Motivate the development process for efficiency and performance. 
• Create standards and procedures for developers to follow.

Ready to Level Up?

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related or equivalent level of experience is required.
• 3 years of experience in software development and testing is required in an agile development environment. 
• Preference for testers with domain knowledge in the credit card processing or fintech space. 
• Experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages: Java, PHP, Dart, MySQL, and SQL Server.
