VIZIO is actively recruiting a Data Analyst to support our quickly growing Inscape business, supporting sales across multiple client verticals including Agencies, Brand Direct, Content Owners & Distributors, and Measurement Partners & Platforms. In this role, the successful candidate will be a strategic partner to our Inscape sales and account management teams as we create data-backed narratives to support key initiatives for driving company objectives. The Data Analyst will leverage data and insights from a variety of tools and datasets (both internal and external and across a variety of business functions, including our VIZIO SmartCast user data as well as Inscape ACR viewership data) to create and inform materials that will directly contribute to key Sales, marketing, and business development growth goals.

The effective Data Analyst will have a familiarity with major industry market intelligence tools and resources and a passion for sourcing and investigating data from a variety of sources to tell a story unique to VIZIO’s position in the marketplace and our ability to capitalize on prevailing trends. The ideal candidate will also closely coordinate with technical data teams like product and engineering to identify current data capabilities and shortcomings and will be comfortable leaning in to learn technical processes that may be unfamiliar to them. As part of a rapidly growing, fast-paced environment, this position requires strong self-motivation, communication skills, attention to detail and a passion for solving problems in unique and novel ways.

• Field requests from various internal stakeholder teams for data-backed insights and narratives to inform vertical category playbooks and sales collateral
• Work closely with VIZIO technical teams to identify best sources and means of access for our first party data and identify optimal future data and insights product builds
• Support Inscape Account Management and Sales teams with technical and marketing support for new product rollouts
• Surface trends in viewership and identify compelling narratives for a wide variety of audiences and applications
• Assist data sales with prospecting new business and exploring new sales opportunities
• Leverage an analytical approach to inform customer discussions and develop data-driven solutions and insights for Inscape’s partners

• You have 2-3 years of experience in media Data and/or business analytics, preferably in a digital-focused capacity.
• Experience collaborating with sales on new business opportunities and prospecting
• You excel in data-driven analysis and can distill meaningful stories for key stakeholders from a variety of data sources.
• Hands-on analytics experience (media, customer, digital, big data)
• Ability to engage with and articulate value propositions to Senior level executives
• Demonstrated ability to work across all levels of a customer or partner organization
• Entrepreneurial drive, comfortable working in fast-paced, growing environment 
• Able to work in ambiguous situations and be able to take charge and lead the client to the best opportunity for them 
• You have proficiency with SQL, Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint and various reporting platforms. 
• Curious, engaged, and excited to contribute in a collaborative environment
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

For New York-based employment: The minimum salary for this position is $64,000/year. The maximum salary for this position $82,000/year. The compensation package includes the annual bonus in addition to a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
