• Will obtain necessary information, conduct legal analysis, and help ensure that all interests of the affected business units are appropriately represented in the applicable legal context.
• Excellent negotiating skills, keen analytical abilities, a pragmatic approach to problem solving, as well as a track record of success in handling complex business and legal issues in a fast-paced, agile and evolving technology-driven business environment
• Proven ability to quickly understand complex products and services, while identifying key issues and risks and offering creative solutions for business enablement
• Experience working in a cross-department, cross-functional role requiring good client relationship skills, including the ability to independently solicit the advice and input of different stakeholders as necessary and appropriate
• Provide legal guidance on employment law related matters to the company
• Assist in contract review and negotiations as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• 5 – 7 years of experience as an attorney either in-house, at a law firm, or a combination of both
• A juris doctor from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in California or can qualify as California Registered In-House Counsel
• Employment law background/working knowledge of employment laws
• Strong transactional background
• Experience in providing clear and concise guidance on regulatory compliance requirements, strongly preferred
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume desk with varying responsibilities and obligations
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• A sense of humor and an ability to work well individually and as part of team
• Experience using SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred
• An appreciation for consumer technology
