Job Summary:
The Shipping & Receiving Specialist will be responsible for shipping and receiving activities, monitoring and tracking shipments, maintaining and communicating the shipping/receiving corporate policy, and assisting in some facilities related activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage shipping/receiving operations and procedures.
• Maintain inventory of outgoing shipments.
• Successful use of procurement system for package control.
• Communicate with multiple functional areas as required for accurate documentation, delivery and control.
• For international/ domestic shipments -
• Properly package cold shipments (Dry Ice, package manifest, etc.)
• Communicate effectively with customs and end users.
• Transport packages to FedEx for drop off when necessary.
• Track shipments to over package life cycle.

Requirements
Experience and education requirements:

• Associate's degree and 5-8 years of shipping and receiving experience preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
• Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Proactive in identifying issues and takes the initiative to identify solutions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Technologically savvy and able to learn new software quickly.
• Intermediate-to-Advanced Excel skills.
• Highly motivated with a desire to grow with the company.

Pay & Benefits:
The hourly pay for this position ranges from $22.00 to $27.00 depending on relevant skills, experience, and education. In addition, this position is eligible for target bonus, long-term-incentives, 401k retirement savings plan with company match, and a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
