Vita Coco is hiring aTrade & Accounts Receivable Analyst who is responsible for all trade spend related to billbacks, deductions, and accounts receivable. This employee will work seamlessly between the finance, sales, ops, and accounting teams. This role will be based out of our HQ-NY Office; we currently have a 2-3 days-per-week in-office requirement, to work from our Manhattan office and reporting directly to the Manager of AR & Trade.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage the trade spend email inbox in an organized manner. This consists of obtaining approval and backup from the sales team for trade deductions submitted by customers. This includes, but is not limited to, reviewing all backup details, contacting sales managers for additional content when needed and communicating with the customer’s accounting departments.
• Process trade and off-invoice billbacks from customers and retailers through SAP.
• Create and process co-op deductions and invoices for distributors on retailer invoices.
• Work with our customers/distributors to ensure accurate billing on all trade spend items.
• Manage the AR email inbox in an organized manner, ensuring that all customer requests are handled.
• Manage the automated invoice process; this includes investigating errors on the daily invoice reports, ensuring all shipments have been invoiced and correcting any errors on automated invoices that have been generated. This will also include ensuring all customers that are on EDI receive their respective invoices.
• Help with ad-hoc requests from all internal partners.
• Manage your respective customer accounts and ensuring each customer stays current. This includes and is not limited to:
• Applying cash payments to the customer account in SAP.
• Generating and formatting statements to send to customers.
• Regular communication with customers on all past due balances.
• Obtaining all deduction back-up in a timely manner.
• Partner with the accounting team on any quarter-end close requests.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or above in a related field
• 0-2 years of accounts receivable and/or trade experience, exceptional customer service skills, CPG experience is a plus
• Extremely detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proactive, positive team player attitude
• Exceptional written and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
• SAP experience preferred

At The Vita Coco Company, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to: skill set, experience, education, training, licensure and certifications, knowledge and abilities of the applicant, alignment with market data, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $45,000-$57,000. This range may vary for positions that will be performed outside of California, Colorado, Nevada, New York City, Westchester County, NY, Rhode Island, or Washington.
