Job Summary Under general direction, oversees the development and implementation of highly complex processes that support the performance of daily P&L reporting, performance reporting, financial planning, monthly variance analysis, modeling and valuation analysis, deal assessment, and cost management. Job Description Key Roles & Responsibilities Create, validate, and publish daily position and P&L reports using Excel, SQL, and VBA models. Provide performance attribution and key P&L drivers related to the natural gas, electricity, coal, emissions, nuclear, and weather markets. Interface with front office traders, planning, accounting, pricing, confirmation and deal entry, and other Vistra reporting groups to meet ad hoc report requests. Support cross-functional development projects which would enhance existing risk data systems. Review and develop new pricing methodologies for unobservable markets Perform quarterly Sox controls around curve liquidity and physical gas mappings. Perform data integrity checks across all systems Mentor/ manage lower-level analysts within the group. Be a daily resource and guide in their day-to-day responsibilities and development. Create and build out new processes that help streamline and provide a clearer reporting structure. Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Highly organized with the ability to multi-task High proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Access and Power Point).
