Job Description Project Manager General Purpose Provide project management duties for a team of developers and designers Principal Duties and Responsibilities Confer with product stakeholders to gather and write product requirements. Participate in design meetings with engineering team to create project plans and ensure proper translation of requirements into tasks and user stories. Ensure product specifications written by main stakeholders or product manager meets minimum requirements for feature specification for developers. Maintain sprints and manage development progress. Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met. Assist in hiring and team expansion efforts. Manage risks for the deadline, liaison with other software teams and departments to ensure external dependencies don’t delay engineering projects. Assign, direct and evaluate tasks to team members, overseeing the development and maintenance of staff competence. Collaborate with QA team on testing new releases and coordinating deployment plans. Report and escalate critical issues to management as needed. Management of the team members to ensure resources are being allocated appropriately.
