We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to travel in Greater St. Louis to assist our dentists. Earn: $21.00/hr.

We offer a full-time package. We provide state-of-the-art mobile clinical equipment with a great, well-trained administrative staff who will support you all along the way. You get to focus on delivering great dental care while we handle practice management, clinical support and financial services.

Responsibilities

Each encounter starts with a warm greeting as you are the first friendly face our patients meet. Once the exam begins, you’ll document both the patient’s dental and medical history and take any additional notes the dentist may need. Other responsibilities include:

  • Assist the dentist by arriving before the first exam in order to be fully prepared with instruments and materials needed for the day’s scheduled procedures
  • Sterilize instruments daily and disinfect treatment area in accordance with OSHA, CDC and infection control guidelines
  • Perform portable/handheld digital radiographs, take impressions and perform intra and extra oral scans
  • Comfortable transporting wheelchair bound patients to and from the exam area
  • Enjoy daily travel

Qualifications

  • Competent with chair-side assistance
  • Can clearly and effectively communicate dental procedures and terminology
  • Comfortable with different daily environments
  • Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance
  • Provide our patients with an empathetic and warm bedside manner
  • Enjoy providing care in senior communities and long-term care facilities
  • Comfortable documenting through electronic health records
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to lift work equipment of up to 50 pounds
