Dental Assistant Job Responsibilities
- Capture and assessment of patient vitals
- Entry and maintenance of electronic patient records, medical history, and proposed treatment
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Capture quality dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Ensure patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
- Carryout infection control protocol; preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
- Enthusiastic communication with patients, suppliers, management, and co-workers
Hours
- Full Time: 30-40 hours/week
- Monday-Friday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Requirements
- 1 year(s) as a Dental Assistant (surgical strongly desired)
- Dental Assistant License where state regulations specify
- X-Ray Certification where state regulations specify
- Experience with prosthetics strongly desired
- Computer Proficiency
- Ability to learn new technology and systems
- Passion for providing extraordinary customer service
- Detail & accuracy-oriented
- Honesty and ethics
- Optimism and a “can-do” attitude
