Description

Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services is seeking an experienced, motivated Homecare scheduler to join our team! This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday at our home office in Mansfield, MA. All candidates must have a minimum of 2-years home health care scheduling. The ideal candidate should be very organized, have excellent computer, customer service and communication skills. Many days, the role will require critical thinking skills for situations that can become emergencies quickly.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with home health care scheduling (minimum of 2 years)
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and consistently adhere to changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Results-driven, positive and patient
• High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness
• Excellent communication, customer service, telephone, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
• Highly professional and dependable
• Proficient computer and Internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite, Excel, Smart sheets. Knowledge of Kinnser a plus!
• Previous customer service or administrative experience in home health care required
• Proficiency in English
• High school diploma or GED required

Requirements

• Enter new patients into the homecare EMR system (KINNSER)
• Verifies Insurance and Communicates with Referral source
• Identifies and resolves client customer service issues
• Oversee clinical staff schedules and place them on home care assignments
• Provide office support to field clinical staff, providing them with all required supplies, forms, and clinical information in a timely manner
• Processes workflow for requested scheduled, missed, rescheduled, reassigned, declined, and delivered visits.
• Monitors pending referrals daily and assigns licensed professionals and case manager for all SOC visits
• Communicates daily with field staff regarding any visits unaddressed in late, pending, or incomplete status for resolution as appropriate.
• Runs scheduling request report daily, completes requests as appropriate for Medicare week. Monitors productivity and distribution of regular visits for caregiver optimization, communicates with team leader as appropriate.
• Assists in coordination of scheduling and tracking all supervisory visits and therapy reassessment visits, as required per regulatory requirements.
• Consult with clinical managers and clients to provide appropriate staffing solutions
• Identifies and resolves client customer service issues
• Cheerfully and professionally answers inbound/intake phone calls
• Performs other duties as assigned

Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services is a unique home healthcare agency that services patients under both traditional insurance as well as the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)/Moving Forward Plan (MFP) waiver programs. These waiver programs allow for ongoing therapy services that are not covered by skilled services.
