Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey is Hiring a Clinical Manager, Homecare Near Essex County, NJ

Overview

VNA Health Group is a premiere Medicare/Medicaid-certified provider of home health, hospice, and community-based services. We’ve been serving families and individuals with the most advanced and comprehensive clinical home care in NJ since 1912.

We are currently looking for a Clinical Manager to join our team. This position would be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Homecare interdisciplinary team as well as providing coordination of internal and external services for patients on the team.

Responsibilities

  • Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
  • Provides daily operational responsibility for the Homecare team
  • Acts as a resource for field staff as needed
  • Monitors quality and appropriateness of services provided to ensure patient satisfaction
  • Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
  • Supervises staff in conjunction with the organization’s managerial and leadership practices
  • Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position
  • Qualifications

  • RN, BSN with licensure in NJ
  • 2 years of community health experience with at least1 year of prior experience with the agency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of reimbursement and OASIS requirements
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Working indoors and outdoors with phone and computer use; client customer contact
