Our CONSTRUCTION client has an immediate opening for a Full Charge Bookkeeper.
Responsible for all accounting areas, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, AIA Draw Requests, Payroll, General Ledger and Job Cost. WILL CONSIDER SOMEONE WITH MOST OF THIS NOT MANDATORY TO HAVE EVERYTHING. GOOD WORK ENVIRONMENT
Key Results:
• Extensive knowledge of Quick Books
• Timely preparation of weekly payroll using Quick Books
• Process all 1099’s, W2’s and payroll quarterly reports
• Enter and pay all vendor bills as well as keeping track of all job costing
• Maintain a schedule of job start dates and completion dates
• Keep a record of all permits and applications
• Analysis of actual job costs vs initial budgets
• Responsible for all company billing by creating AIA Draw Requests with the PEM Software program
• Keep track of all contracts and change orders
• Ensure all subcontractors have adequate and current liability and workers compensation insurance
• Responsible for Workers Compensation audits and Liability Insurance Audits
Qualifications:
- NOT MANDATORY BUT A PLUS Associates or Bachelor degree in Accounting
- 3 years experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Experience in Quick Books
- Construction industry preferred
