VisionsHR is Hiring an Administrative / Office Assistant Near Maybrook, NY

The Orange County Chamber of Commerce has an immediate opening for a Part-time Administrative Assistant.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing the office aspects of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce and its subsidiaries. In addition, the position provides support to staff and committees in the implementation and presentation of information vital to making decisions for the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:
▪ Overall management of office functions and vendors
▪ Supervision of appropriate technology and staff training
▪ Facility administration, maintenance and security
▪ Direct support of the President and CEO
▪ Board of Directors Administrative Assignment
▪ Meet, greet and be hospitable to all visitors; you are the face of the Chamber
▪ Answer telephones, your direct line and CEO line is also directed back to your extension
▪ Check mail daily and distribute accordingly
▪ Conference room: maintain meeting room calendar
▪ Atlas community event calendar, profile update monitoring & approval
▪ Work directly with the Director of Marketing & Events
▪ Maintenance & procurement of office supplies
Qualifications:
▪ Three to Five years’ experience in related field
▪ Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
▪ Experience in not-for-profit corporations
▪ MS Office Suite, CRM Databases. Experience in Atlas a plus.
▪ Ability to be flexible and work as a team player.
▪ Paid Holidays
▪ Potential for full-time opportunity in future.
