Overview

The Associate Project Manager is responsible for full life-cycle management of small- to medium-sized projects, including organization and management of resources and activities for planning, materials purchasing and management, installation, budget-tracking, and project close out. In addition, for certain programs / projects, the Associate Project Manager will work as member of a larger Project Management Team.

The Associate Project Manager focus is on delivering World Class Customer Experience and Quality. They are integral to the account team and is key in building the trusted relationship with the customer. They are an extension of the sales team and carry a farming quota.

The individual reports into a business unit manager, or manager of project managers within a business unit.

Responsibilities

• Execution on all assigned OTRs (Objectives, Targets, Results).• Active participation in CFR discussions.• Conform and adhere to all responsibilities within the Operational Guidelines throughout the phases of: Presales, Planning, Delivery, Closing, and Post-Installation.• Monitor all aspects of project plans to ensure milestones, timelines, and budget targets are met.• Monitor Risks and initiate necessary Proactive and Corrective Actions• Manage Change Control and Procure change orders• Manage subcontractors/vendors to ensure timely and high-quality work.• Monitor and drive the quality assurance process during all phases of the project.• Maintain data and system integrityo Ensure accurate system data for engagement set upo Aligning all contract documents (PO, Contract, Proposal, PnL)o Proper billing schedule• Performing weekly reviews of:o Project Metrics systemo Invoicing dueo Pending Awardso Accounts Receivableso System dates

Qualifications

• College degree or AA preferred.• Sound familiarity with project management methodologies.• Knowledgeable in all aspects of delivering voice/data/fiber and wireless installation projects.• Must be knowledgeable with MS Word and an email application such as MS Office. • Knowledge of voice/data communication a plus.

• Years of Experience: 2-3 years of experience specific to the job responsibilities.
