Job Purpose This position exists to assist surgeons in the operating room by preparing supplies and instruments that are case/surgeon specific. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring a safe patient care environment where all safety/sterile technique guidelines are followed. Duties and Responsibilities Assist surgeons during operative procedures Gather appropriate, case / surgeon specific supplies, equipment, and instrumentation Ensure a safe, sterile surgical environment utilizing accepted standards and recommended practices Follows manufacturer’s instructions for use for all supplies, equipment and instrumentation
