THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently searching for an upbeat, positive, career-minded, enthusiastic team member who aspires to grow professionally to work as a Medical Receptionist in our Primary Care Clinic in Zephyrhills, FL at the On Top of the World location.

THE WORK

The successful candidate will conduct all front office functions, including telephone triage, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and balancing daily collections. Must have excellent telephonic skills, an outgoing personality, and great communication skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail is essential.

This position is located in Zephyrhills, FL, and requires flexibility, a willingness to help in all areas, the ability to multitask, and sound judgment. Full-time 40 hours per week. (Schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for accurately and professionally handling all front desk operations, including answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, balancing daily collections, addressing routine inquiries, and triaging calls.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment with good organizational skills.
  • Assist with inventory and maintain office supplies.
  • Assist with referrals and authorizations. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of three (3) years of medical office experience is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, and in a professional and courteous manner with patients and all levels of personnel.
  • Superior customer service skills to handle escalated issues.
