OVERVIEW:

VillageCaregiving, LLC is a non-medical in-home caregiving business that helpsindividuals age in place by assisting with ADLs (eating, bathing, dressing,toileting, mobility, and incontinence). Village Caregiving has 45 offices in fourteenstates across the East and Midwest. VillageCaregiving seeks a highly motivated individual to work with the Executive Director (ED) to manage and grow our Bloomington, IN, office. Specifically, this person will assist the Executive Director (ED) in managing the day-to-day operations andcompliance related to our home health aides and clients in the Bloomington, IN, area. 

Asa Director of Operations, you will:

· Work with the Executive Director to achieve a balanced book of business amongst our multiplepayor sources.

·Develop, maintain, and fine-tune a team of direct careworkers with the Executive Director. 

·Quickly adapt best practicesand follow the Executive Directors' guidance to manage the day and not let the day manage. 

·Source, develop, coach, and lead a team that keeps pace withthe extreme growth of the assigned territory.

·Consistently execute a high level of customer service.

·Routinely plan and complete outreach to our current andpotential referral sources.

·Participate in activities that benefit the communities weserve.

·Work with the Executive Director, who gives you thefreedom to do your best at work each day and fosters a culture of engagementand support.

· Help drive the growth of the assigned territory.

GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Director of Operations (DO) is responsible for working alongside the Executive Director (ED) in developing, leading, and growing a thriving office thatgrows month over month (MoM). The DO muststrive to assist the ED in building and maintaining referral sources, help hire staff with a sense of urgencyto meet the demand for our services, value employee engagement, and seek toprovide an exceptional client experience, all while being in compliance and completingthe monthly admin task. The ED isaccountable for the sustainment and growth of the business and needs a strong DO to accomplish this. Along with the ED, the DO will be responsible for doing the rightthing and using common sense when dealing with clients, colleagues, andemployees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:

· Help the ED deepenthe office’s book of business by actively seeking new business and by maintainingyour book of business through employee engagement and industry-leading customerservice.

·Demonstrateand maintain a working knowledge of Village Caregiving’s services, processes,and compliance requirements.

· Work closely with the ED to cultivatea strong internal networking culture that proactively collaborates with colleagues.

·Participatein activities that align with Village Caregiving’s growth initiatives and benefitthe communities we serve.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

·Previousmanagement experience preferred.

·Abilityto professionally represent Village Caregiving in verbal and written communication.

·Capableof using common sense to problem solve.

·Comfortablenavigating difficult conversations.

·Exhibitsbusiness acumen.

·Demonstratedability to make sound decisions.
