VICTORIA CARE CENTER is Hiring a Speech Language Pathologist PRN Near Baldwin Park, CA

We provide PT, OT, ST servicesin post-acute settings and are looking for talented, dynamic clinicians withpassion to join our team.

Provides, directs andsupervises all aspects of quality patient care, including, but not limited to;screeningevaluation and treatment, treatment planning,goal setting, family education and documentation, in order to assure the bestoutcome possible for the patient. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) assuresthat the patient care follows the organization’s guidelines; professionalstandards and community needs, and is in compliance with Federal and Stateguidelines.

The SLP serves as apatient and rehabilitation advocate for current prospective patients, to allinternal and external customersEnsures cross-disciplinarycoordination in order to provide for consistent patient careParticipatesin quality assurance and customer service activities.

Requirements:

  • Master of Science in Speech/Language Pathology.
  • Licensure or Certification as required by State guidelines.
  • CPR Certification.
  • 1 year Speech/Language Pathology experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a residential/assisted living or skilled nursing facility preferred.
  • Students in their CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) will be considered.
