Schedule: M-F 9-5

Position Summary:
The Project Management Office (PMO) is within the Operations Department that provides Project Management Governance and Support for all Divisions and Programs/Departments at Vibrant Emotional Health. The PMO works in partnership and collaboratively with Internal and External Stakeholders to achieve the strategic goals and objectives, as set forth by Vibrant's Executive and Management Teams. External Stakeholders include any and/or all of the following:
  • ThriveNYC, DOHMH, SAMHSA, Contracted Programs and Grant Funders, Vibrant Board of Directors, Other Vibrant Collaborators
Under the leadership of the Senior Director of Project Management, the PMO is led by the Project Management Office Director (PMOD), the Project Management Office Portfolio Director (PMOPD), and the PMO Team Lead. The foundation and approach of the Project Management Office (PMO) honors and follows the following:

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Understanding and utilization of project and program management best practices, principles, methods, and techniques;
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget;
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation;
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives (including interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs);
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan;
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner;
  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chair the project management team meetings;
  • Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables;
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership;
  • Pursue professional development opportunities in order to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
  • Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from executive sponsors, team members, stakeholders, and peers
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook with experience presenting to stakeholders and /or Senior Leadership
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 1 to 5 years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects, working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Not-for-Profit organization experience
  • Healthcare organization experience
  • Technology industry and/or health IT experience
  • Advanced Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Six Sigma Certification
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
