Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Assembler will perform a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. Will determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, welding and fitting on assembly units. Will make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Job Responsibilities: Assemble electronic devices and components Use basic electronic assembly tools, hand power equipment, and various electronic test equipment to perform troubleshooting, testing and repairs of electronic equipment Ability to understand and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, prints, and bills of materials Ability to identify all components (IC’s, capacitors, resistors, diodes, etc…) Understands the function of electronic parts (capacitance, resistance, etc….) in circuitry Replaces components / makes board repairs Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements: Requirements: Ability to build prototype boards Ability to solder, de-solder, place and remove components without damaging board Knowledge of various kinds of soldering and de-soldering tools, equipment, and chemicals (fluxes, solders, cleaners, etc..) used in all processes Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to follow detailed technical instructions Knowledge of working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel &Word) Develop new methods to improve functionality and efficiency Inspect, repair, sort, alter, or reject products Meet a level of productivity as determined by management Visually inspect and re-work fine detail such as solder joints Ability to carry up to 40lbs Be versatile and able to multi-task If you have what it takes to push boundaries and seize opportunities, apply to join our team today.
