Monitor the alignment of products with production schedule and material planning to meet production goals. Monitor departmental performance measures, including visual controls, and provide regular progress reports. Supervise associates in a manner that fosters a safe work environment and self-directed team approach. Identify, arrange and/or facilitate training to ensure a safe, efficient, quality, work environment. Provide leadership to Associates in all areas including: hiring, performance management, coaching, counseling and corrective actions. Assist in the analysis of production and related processes and make recommendations on improvements and organization of process improvement activity through the application of Six-Sigma & Lean Manufacturing methodologies. Promote an atmosphere of inclusion, open communication and trust, to foster team development and associate engagement. Required Skills: 3 years demonstrated experience in a leadership role in manufacturing environment. Strong communication skills, MS Office experience. Ability to make decisive decisions and efficiently solve problems. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles required (Six Sigma) and (Lean Principles).
