Join Team Upland as our Quality Inspector and realize your full potential as a High Impact member of our Quality team.POSITION SCOPE/SUMMARY:The Quality Receiving Inspector is responsible for determining if manufactured by suppliers conforms to customer specified requirements. This shall be accomplished by inspection, monitoring and releasing to established acceptable criteria. Receiving Inspector shall also ensure that quality related functions, procedures and policies established by Viant Medical are adhered to.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:1.Proficiency with PC-DMIS and Measuremind 3D automated inspection software (CMM, OGP, Smart scope, etc.) is preferable.2.Conduct receiving inspection to customer specifications as well as in-process inspection of manufacturing and assembly processes.3.Perform incoming component inspection.4.Verify all applicable documentation for accuracy.5.Follow through with suppliers when corrections are needed.6.Initiate Supplier Rejection when applicable.7.Conduct final inspection (AQL) as defined for lot release.8.Conduct final audit of Certificate of Compliance for release of product to customer.9.Oversee quarantine cage and disposition material as required.10.Assist in custom label generation when needed.11.Maintain lab and documentation cleanliness12.Communicate with Lead Inspector and production personnel on non-conformances found.13.Coordinate retained parts with proper identification.14.Audit production operation & personnel.15.File or scan applicable quality documentation.16.Enforce “controlled room” policies and procedures.17.Special projects as assigned by Manager, Supervisor, or Engineer in Quality Assurance.ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS:Physical Demands:Standing, sitting, walking, and lifting.QUALIFICATIONS:Required – Minimum of 1 year as a Quality Inspector. Ability for standard measurement and test equipment. Comprehensive knowledge in blue print reading and interpretation. Computer literate. Good verbal and written communication skills.Preferred – Ability to interpret SPC charts Computer literate. Good verbal and written communication skills.
