About the Position
VHB’s Bedford, NH team is looking for a versatile Traffic Engineer to join our growing Transportation practice. The selected candidate will work with a team of traffic engineers and transportation planners on a variety of public, private, and institutional projects within broad cross-section of markets, including municipal, state agencies, higher education, federal lands, and aviation.
Our ideal candidate has an interest in the practice of traffic and transportation engineering and is eager to expand upon initially developed skills by applying practical solutions to real world problems for our clients. Our ideal candidate is open to learning, developing, and growing experience on a wide variety of small to large infrastructure projects including sidewalks, trails, intersections, arterial roadways, urban roadways, interstates, and interchanges; traffic signal design and timing; and traffic and transportation studies for land development projects and corridor planning. This position offers an opportunity to enhance a diverse set of skills on transportation design, operations, and/or planning projects throughout this expanding region.
