Senior Accountant

Due to major growth we are expanding our Finance team in Sydney and currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join the team.
In this role you will support key business stakeholders across the VGW group of entities by providing strategic finance advice and delivering financial and operational objectives for VGW.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with different Business Units, providing valuable commercial and financial expertise, insights, recommendations and presentations to relevant stakeholders
- Analysing trends and financial performance across business units
- Identify possible financial risk factors to the commercial finance projects and initiatives, provide scenario analysis and plan effective solutions and preventive measures
- Ensuring compliance with all approved intercompany agreement recharges and invoicing
- Supporting the Finance team to implement a range of Finance projects, plans, tools and systems to respond to future financial management challenges
What you will bring to the role:
- More than 5 years experience in large organisations with a working knowledge of transfer pricing, consolidation, and intercompany transactions and recharges
- Post graduate finance qualifications: CA or CPA qualified
- Excellent problem solving & negotiation skills with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex finance problems
- Collaborative and comfortable working with remote colleagues - dealing with people in different offices and timezones (US, Malta, Canada, PH)
