VETS SECURING AMERICA (VSA) IS SEEKING TO IMMEDIATELY HIRE ARMED SECURITY OFFICER FOR THE CITY OF KANSAS CITY, MO. SITE IS GOVERNMENT BUILDING THAT IS CLOSED ON STATE/ FEDERAL HOLIDAYS . ALL SHIFTS ARE MONDAY -FRIDAY.
POSITION DETAILS
STARTING RATE: $19.00
SHIFT: MORNING/ SWIN
DAYS: MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY
CITY: KANSAS CITY, MO
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and patrol premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
​Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields
- Valid KCPD issued Armed Guard Card & Firearms permit
- Must own fire arm, duty belt and level 2 or 3 holster
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Customer Services oriented
- Strong attention to detail
- KCPD armed license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
