Veterinary Specialists Of The Rockies is Hiring a Front of House Manager Near Castle Rock, CO

Front of House Manager

The purpose of this position is to provide a variety of analytical, evaluative, advisory, coordinating, and supervisory, of the Front of House (FOH)staff at Veterinary Specialists of the Rockies. The fundamental responsibility of the Front of House Managers is to effectively use all available resources to provide the best possible client care and a resource for the referral community, as well as to ensure the profitability of the practice.

Tasks

  • Manage personnel training and development programs for front of house
  • Establish work schedules for front desk staff
  • Assist with staff meetings for front desk
  • Assist with employee performance reviews
  • Mediate internal disputes between staff
  • Work well with all employees and ensure that your actions support the hospital, the doctors and the practice philosophy
  • Develop and assist the FOH staff continuing education needs
  • Establish and maintain employee motivation and hospital work culture
  • Assist with A/R account, including staff invoices
  • Assist with staff discount programs
  • Assist with training of new technology
  • Develop plans for updating technology within the hospital
  • Assist with inventory of hospital office supplies and ordering
  • Liaison between front and back of house- help mediate issues between the departments
  • Front Desk duties ~50% of the time
  • Back up for sick calls
  • Embrace technology and assist with finding new programs
  • Assist with On Call for other leadership team
  • Work closely with hospital administrator and owner to facilitate needed tasks
  • Sort incoming mail as needed
  • Assist with client issues
  • Assist with clinic visits within the community
  • Assist with community events
  • Maintain daily closeouts
  • Maintain bank deposits as needed
  • Reconcile any discrepancy with working cash
  • Maintain a professional work environment for the front of house.
  • Monitor client retention
  • Develop and manage client programs- Work with marketing on these items
  • Establish annual goals for attracting new clients and client retention
  • Assist with client feedback and service- help respond to online reviews
  • Review outstanding invoices for accuracy prior to writing off or sending notices to collections or clients
  • Assist with Specialty practice schedule accuracy and training of specialty department needs

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ability to communicate well, provide strong leadership and motivation to direct, guide and assist a group of individuals including effectively solving problems.
  • Regular attendance and timeliness are essential.
  • Ability to deal with clients regarding financial issues. In depth knowledge of financial management is required.
  • Complete tasks in a timely manner and follow up on pending issues.
  • Market the practice as necessary to initiate new programs and educate clients of services available.
  • Work approximately 50% of the time as a CSR for the business.
  • Must be willing to work a variety of shifts to ensure adequate training and resources for the team. Nights, weekends and holidays.

Pay Range- $49,000-$60,000 DOE

Exempt Position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $49,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
