Full Time Field Service Engineer

Our client company is a leading manufacturer and supplier of industrial equipment, seeking a Field Service Engineer, travel from home based office in the Cleveland, OH area to install, service, and maintain equipment while providing exceptional customer service.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment malfunctions or failures
• Adjusts and calibrates equipment to operating functions
• Disassembles repairs and reassembles components and units required
• Installs, modifies and repairs company equipment and/or 3rd party equipment
• Prioritize customer needs - provide preventative maintenance with daily repairs
• Provide education and training to customers regarding equipment
• Maintain and stock work vehicle with relevant tools and equipment
• Promote and sells assured preventative maintenance programs, service and repair parts
• Promotes and maintains good customer relations through high standards of professionalism, ethical behavior, maturity and good judgement

Candidate Requirements:

• Military experience with electromechanical MOS highly encouraged to apply
• Experience with auxiliary equipment desired
• Experience working with valves, regulators, pumps, fans
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• General computer skills and comfort with technology applications and equipment
• Ability to travel with overnight stays up to 60-70%
• Ability to work on call week, 1 week on and 2 off and dispatch as needed on call
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Compensation: DOE and location. Company work truck provided and authorized for personal use.
