Veterans Prime, Inc. is Hiring a Remote Talent Acquisition Specialist

Overview

Immediate hiring need with career opportunities for full time & fully remote position!!! Compensation in the $68,000 to $80,000 range and includes a full benefits package.

Talent Acquisition Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and manage working relationships with hiring managers to determine hiring needs
  • Develop and create targeted recruitment techniques with management for qualified candidates
  • Work with direct sourcing, referrals, networking, professional communities, relationships with college/universities career centers and other sourcing methods
  • Screening candidates 
  • Onboarding new hires
  • Timely updates for candidates 
  • Present the most qualified candidates to hiring managers with recommendations for interviews
  • Arrange interview schedules, pre-employment screening, and offer letter drafts
  • Must have a solid and broad understanding of Human Resource principles, practices, and employment laws
  • Consult with leaders, hiring managers and human resources team on position descriptions, requisition creation, compensation, and sourcing strategies
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Recruit and perform talent acquisition activities such as resume & phone screens, candidate interviews, recommend final selection of applicants, and close qualified candidates
  • Place and update all job postings on recruiting portals
  • Maintain applicant tracking system
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Manager on planning, development of employee retention plans
  • Support agency partnerships and vendor contracts for hard-to-fill roles
  • Maintaining relationships with candidates and hiring managers

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years recruiting experience
  • Experience in sourcing candidates
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Results and Customer orientated

ALTHOUGH NOT REQUIRED, OUR TARGET CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field-preferred
