Overview
Product Support Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL
Pay Range: $33-46/hr
Travel: 100% in year one; 10% aftward
Client company seeking talented individuals in the high-tech machine tools and laser technology industry. Global company with career advancement opportunities in the U.S. and around the globe.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional technical assistance by phone to customers and Field Service Engineers
- Document customer equipment information and conditions to suggest improvements
- Work within a cross functional team to provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- A hands-on problem solver experienced in electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics, and hydraulics
- Previous Field Service Engineer experience preferred.
- Focused on customer service and quality
- Technologically experienced in software and file management
- Engineering degree not required
