Our client is hiring a Network Adminstrator!
The Network Administrator is responsible for architecture, planning, designing, installing, configuring, modifying, optimizing, and supporting the client's network hardware, software, and communication links. Designs, installs, monitors, and maintains Universal's LAN/WAN, Internet and intranet systems, telephony and video conference services, and application support.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, quality assurance, or equivalent, preferred.
4 years in a similar role.
Must have 4 years' experience in IT dealing with Network Management in a LAN/WAN VPN environment; installing, troubleshooting, upgrading operating systems to include Windows XP and MS SQL server; and installing and maintaining network hubs/switches/high end Cisco routers/firewall systems.
Knowledge of PowerShell or another scripting language desirable.
Telephony experience preferred; understanding of VOIP and SIP based PBX systems preferred
In-Depth understanding of firewall and networking principles.
Strong verbal / written communication skills, and able to deal effectively with personnel from all levels of organization
Licenses and / or Certifications:
CCNA Certification, preferred.
