Field Service Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Makes on-site service visits to expedite resolution to long-term problems.
• Meet with the Engineering Department to troubleshoot technical problems identified in the field.
• Deliver excellent customer service 
• Respond to and resolve inquiries from customers, Sales Agents, Area Sales Managers, and FSR’s regarding technical issues.
• Provide solutions to unresolved long-term problems
• Develop action plans to improve long term unsolved problems by meeting with appropriate departments.
• Travel to customer sites to resolve technical issues that have not been resolved by the FSR/FSE.
• Research and analyze field reports and maintenance checklists to ensure all problems and pending issues are solved.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal/written/interpersonal communication
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Electronic system troubleshooting is a plus.
• Working knowledge of digital circuits, electrical power circuits, and PLC circuits.
• Working knowledge of test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• 2 years of experience required as a supervisor, additional customer service background a plus.
• knowledge of business line processes, products and services
• Desire to exceed customer satisfaction goals
• Spanish and other languages are a plus.
• Interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, mechatronics, sustainable manufacturing, or industrial engineering is preferred or equivalent industrial or military 

experience.

Travel:

Extensive domestic and international travel, with up to 40 %

Must have or be able to obtain a valid passport.
