Global calibration company with immediate hiring needs and career opportunities!!!

Compensation in the $50,000 to $70,000 range or more depending on experience. These are full time positions and include a full benefits package.

Electronic and Mechanical Calibration Technicians: test, calibrate, repair, electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, electronic measuring, recording, and indicating instruments to conform to established standards.

Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD training or equivalent experience desired. We have a great opportunity for a Calibration Technician to join our team at a key customer on-site in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Perform Quality Validation

* Perform calibrations on general electrical and mechanical equipment

* Interact with the customer to determine needs relating to traceability, adequacy of standards and test procedures 

* Must be willing to travel to local and regional on-site locations

* Occasional overnight travel may be required

QUALIFICATIONS:

*Ability to read and interpret procedures, schematics and drawings and understanding of Dimensional calibration and variation tolerancing a plus

*Experience working in a manufacturing environment

*Experience utilizing tools and gauges including Calipers, Micrometers, Height and Thread Gauges

*Excellent Customer Service skills 

*Meticulous with and eye for detail along with very good organizational skills

ALTHOUGH NOT REQUIRED, OUR TARGET CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

*A minimum of 2 years of experience operating a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)

*Prior training and experience with measuring Software (such as LK Camino)

*Basic understanding of Mechanical tool calibration

*Formal Calibration Training (Such as Military PMEL Certified)

*Prior experience Calibrating Physical Dimensional Test & Measurement Equipment
