Staffing Pros, a division of VETS Inc., is recruiting for full-time Remote Senior Manager, Financial Reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of external financial statements, footnotes and MD&A for SEC reports including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and more, in compliance with GAAP and SEC rules and regulations.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of all required SEC financial statements and other SEC filings, including close coordination with our legal team, and others as necessary.
• Assistance with quarterly and annual earnings release, investor decks, Audit Committee materials and other internal and external communications as appropriate.
• Lead the effort to provide detailed tie-outs of financial statements internally and externally (e.g. external auditors) including compliance with SOX and internal controls
• Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including the cash flow statement, weighted average shares outstanding and EPS computations.
• Drive process improvements and innovations within the department as well as within the global organization.
• Assistance in the research of accounting issues revolving around SEC reporting in order to ensure proper compliance with SEC and GAAP rules in our filings.
• Assistance with other ad-hoc requests as necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, and an active CPA
• 8 years of SEC reporting experience – predominately at large, multi-national public companies
• 8 years of US GAAP and SEC regulations
• 8 years of accounting experience, Big Four a plus, or a mix of public accounting and industry SEC Reporting experience

• Experience with Workiva
• Superior organization and prioritization skills
• Leadership experience
• Excellent writing skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Proven self-starter requiring minimal guidance to successfully complete projects
