The Animal Hospital of Streamood in Streamwood, IL is seeking a friendly and dedicated Veterinary Receptionist / Veterinary Assistant to join our hospital team. The Animal Hospital of Streamwood is a high quality, busy 2-doctor, full-service animal hospital. The Veterinary Receptionist / Veterinary Assistant position plays an integral role in providing excellent care to our patients as well as providing outstanding customer service to our clients. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule though rotating Saturday shifts will be required.
Some of the responsibilities include answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, processing payments, assisting the veterinarians/technicians, pharmacy duties, handling medical records, and housekeeping tasks to name a few.
Top priority will be given to applicants with experience working in a veterinary hospital as a Veterinary Assistant. Candidates must have experience in a customer service environment as well. This position requires someone that is excellent at handling difficult situations with tact and diplomacy. A caring and compassionate attitude is required of all members of our team.
