VerticalScope Inc. is Hiring a Remote Digital Account Manager (remote)

THE ROLE

At VerticalScope, we are reimagining the future of online communities, and are looking for a passionate Digital Account Manager to support our sales efforts and help provide outstanding service to our clients. As Digital Account Manager, you will be collaborating internally with Sales, Ad Operations, Finance, and other teams to ensure campaign success, as well as externally with our clients to ensure all of their needs and KPIs are met. You will rapidly acquire a thorough understanding of VerticalScope’s digital advertising offerings, systems, processes, and departments, and will be responsible for millions of dollars in revenue. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Act as the main point of contact for our clients, as well as our Sales and other internal departments regarding ad campaigns
  • Partner closely with your assigned Salesperson to launch and manage the full campaign lifecycles, and help with pre-sale reporting in cases of short deadlines/urgent data needs
  • Build and manage relationships with our clients (existing and potential), and gather all necessary assets for their ad campaigns
  • Continuously monitor clients’ ad campaigns to ensure their success by meeting client KPI goals and budgets, including changing/augmenting campaigns to meet contractual commitments
  • Keep a detailed forecast of campaign spend and monitor delivery to ensure the campaigns are on track month-over-month
  • Collaborate with Sales and Ad Operations to optimize campaigns and ensure they are implemented currently and on time, as well as identifying and growing opportunities within sales territories
  • Collaborate with Finance on billing, and Legal with campaign contracts
  • Collaborate with other internal departments (Creative, Marketing, Content, and Ad Engineering) to ensure successful campaign distribution
  • Manage account performance by developing campaign tracking and analysis systems to forecast and track key metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results, annual revenue forecasts, third party ad server performance, etc), and provide regular internal status reports and post-campaign reports/decks for clients
  • QA and troubleshoot campaigns as they go live, investigate possible solutions when errors arise, and assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Communicate monthly/quarterly initiatives progress to internal and external stakeholders
  • Other related responsibilities and ad hoc projects as negotiated and needed to meet the ongoing needs of the company

ABOUT YOU

  • 2 years of experience in online ad campaign management
  • Sharp attention to detail, and with a proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with online ad media and sales tools including Salesforce.com, Google Ad Manager, Campaign Manager 360, Prisma, and Google Analytics
  • Customer service mentality, with excellent relationship management and conflict resolution skills
  • Intellectually curious and enthusiastic, and a proactive, out-of-the-box thinker/problem solver
  • Ability to work autonomously, within a team environment, and cross-functionally
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to provide professional, accurate, and timely responses
  • Articulate and tactful; with outstanding business communication, writing, and phone skills
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
