What you’ll be doing...

Leading the architecture evolution, planning and delivery effort of an Enterprise voice-core infrastructure and application platform, as well as working on new access technologies will be key aspects of the role. As a domain authority, you will also provide technical leadership and provide direction to vendors and internal organizations.

• Working with equipment and software partners to develop requirements, features, methods, and tools to support development and deployment efforts at the System Integration level.

• Creating System Design Documentation, Method of Procedures, and Executive briefings. Presenting cohesive but easily understandable design walkthroughs.

• Working with multi-functional teams and partners on initiatives and feature development projects.

• Developing planning, engineering, and implementation guidelines, and providing direction for platform evolution.

• Researching and evaluating new technologies and translating business objectives and strategies into plans.

• Conducting feasibility analysis and vendor evaluation, assisting with developing project plans and supporting deployment.

What we’re looking for...

You’re a subject matter expert in Avaya Voice and Contact Center infrastructure and applications. You have interpersonal and negotiating skills and are a skilled communicator, both orally and in writing. As a self-starter, you work well independently, completing projects with minimal guidance. Working in a team environment is also personally rewarding – you enjoy the chance to inspire and encourage your colleagues to achieve great results. No stranger to a fast-paced environment, you are well organized and balance opposing priorities with ease, never missing a deadline.

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

• Six or more years of relevant work experience.

• In-depth working knowledge in voice technologies and protocols including SIP, Avaya voice product suite including but not limited to CCElite, AEP, and Oceana (BRE), SBC, WebRTC, and VoIP architecture.

• Familiarity with integrating Management Information, Ticketing, Workforce Optimization, Provisioning and Self Service tool sets into Avaya products.

• Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• A degree.

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer science.

• Avaya Certifications and/or confirmed training.

• Experience having delivered a solution supporting a 20k seat call center and a 50K seat UC solution.

• Experience in detailing call flows, developing interface specification, calculating system and transport forecasts, and performing capacity analysis.
