Job Description

Verisk is seeking a QA Analyst to perform functional and business logic testing to ensure we deliver Quality Products. This position faces both internal users and external customers and requires good communication skills. In this role, the candidate will be required to build / maintain test cases, create automated scripts, and maintain work across several different products. The candidate will be participating in testing the new product launches, project / customer implementations, system enhancements and process improvements in a fast-paced Agile environment. Verisk is looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, customer service experience, and an innovative mind set. 

• Design and enhance test cases for functional and regression testing 

• A good understanding on data driven testing and relational databases 

• Identify scenarios per the requirements to create test cases and regression scripts 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  

• Ability to learn and adapt to continuous changing requirements and timelines 

• Establish good working relations and confidence within the team and across development, business, and Product teams 

• Managing end-to-end testing of the application in automated fashion 

• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal 

• Independently prioritize work if need be  

• Ability to manage competing priorities and time management 

• Comfortable with multi-tasking and must be detail oriented

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science  

• 2-3 years’ experience 

• Knowledge in Property and Auto Insurances underwriting is a plus 

• Automation knowledge using JMeter and Selenium  

• Hands-on experience with UI front end testing  

• Knowledge using Microsoft Office suite of products – word and excel is required 

• Cucumber and Atlassian Bamboo experience desirable 

• Experience with XML, Json, Web concepts such as REST APIs, HTTP Get and Post 

• Experience with Agile and Confluence tools Remote based position – location anywhere in the U.S.
