Veridium is Hiring a Remote Technical Sales Engineer (USA - remote)

The company:

Veridium is a leader in the development of user-centric authentication solutions which link biometrics (what you are) to smart phones (what you have) for trusted digital identities. Our authentication platform and proprietary biometrics provide strong authentication, eliminating the need for passwords, tokens, or PINs – delivering multi-factor security with single-step convenience at a lower total cost of ownership than traditional MFA solutions.

As a Technical Sales Engineer you will:

  • operate in accordance with Veridium sales principles to pair customers’ requirements with Veridium’s solutions.
  • Work alongside other sales team members to present products to customers, answer any technical questions they may have, and use extensive technical knowledge to sell software solutions to customers.
  • Partner with Area Sales Directors (ASD’s) to provide technical leadership in territory planning and developing account-based positioning strategies.
  • Be accountable for all aspects of the “success cycle,” which includes product value proposition development, product demos, technical validation (POCs / proofs of concept), as well as ongoing operationalization considerations through post-sales handoff.
  • Be customers’ point of contact with the Veridium product team and help prioritize and manage support, bug fixes, and new product requests on an as needed basis.

  • you have the ability to understand customer needs and understand underlying requirements, create & conduct demonstrations of VeridiumID in conjunction with third party products.
  • you have proven project-management skills, including scoping and operating POCs and developing documentation, onboarding documents, customer definition plans, etc.
  • you have the ability to provide thought leadership on a situational basis.
  • you are proficient in delivering presentations and conducting technical discussions with customers and partners.
  • you have excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to communicate clearly, in writing and orally.
  • you demonstrate the core values of integrity, accountability, and performance excellence.

You could be a great fit if:

  • you have a strong understanding of the identity and access management space, the prominent players, and the technology landscape.
  • you understand authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, Kerberos etc.) and how they relate to the end-to-end customer journey.
  • you are competent in installing and troubleshooting enterprise software within Windows and Linux environments.
  • you have experience with native iOS and Android application development or cross-platform development tools (EG Cordova is desirable).
  • you have experience with virtual application and desktop delivery technologies – Citrix, VMWare, Microsoft or another key EUC technology stack.
  • you have experience with technical writing.
  • you are self-motivated, have a drive to learn and adapt to challenges, and are comfortable working and collaborating with a geographically-dispersed team.
  • you have a bachelor’s degree (ideally in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field).
  • you are able to travel up to 25% of the time on an as needed basis.
  • you have the ability to rapidly “ramp up” and learn needed technical skills within 1 – 2 quarters.
