Description
AIM: The aim of the Warehouse material handler is to safely, efficiently, and accurately receive inventory and supply production with supplies and inventory.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/EXPECTATIONS:
- Loading and unloading supplies, inventory and other shipments
- Check incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered material meets quantity and quality standards
- Restocks and resupplies production areas
- Safely operate forklifts to move pallets and other large inventory items to specified locations
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies into stock locations.
- Conduct daily warehouse cycle counts
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering materials and supplies.
- Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
- Assist in Loading and Unloading inventory, (motors, extrusion and other products when needed.)
- Assist team lead in preparing finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
- Documents serialized inventory when unloading trucks or staging for production.
- Maintains material-handling equipment, checks liquids in forklifts, notifies Maintenance when repairs are needed.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintains a safe clean work area.

2 years warehouse / stockroom experience
