Veracity Consulting Group is Hiring a Remote Business Development Executive

Today, we’re ready to expand our U.S. Business Development Executive team. As a Business Development Executive, you will be instrumental in growing revenue in a defined territory (West Coast or Mid West Territories). 

To be considered for this role, you must have proven Digital and Business Consulting Services business development or sales experience and experience with selling one of our core SaaS products listed below.

Responsibilities of Role:

  • Identifies and prioritizes new business revenue opportunities and develops a strategy for closing new business accounts.
  • Develops and manages relationships with key referral partners.
  • Initiates and attends a high volume of new business meetings per month.
  • Engages in prospecting activities including participation in networking groups and professional organizations, direct email and phone outreach, and cross-selling existing relationships.
  • Leverages Veracity Consultant and employee networks into new relationships.
  • Partners with subject matter experts and Practice Leaders throughout the sales process to shorten the sales cycle and effectively increase new business wins.
  • Partners with subject matter experts and Practice Leaders on pitch material, proposals, meeting agendas and follow-up.
  • Assists with successful project launch including attending project kick-off meetings and keeping in touch with clients to ensure satisfactory product delivery.
  • Utilizes CRM (HubSpot and/or Salesforce) to track and report activities and pipeline.
  • Participates in the team’s “Net New” initiatives, such as market visibility events and related internal projects.
  • Fully understands Veracity’s multi-disciplinary product line including Strategy, Customer Experience (CX), and Workplace Experience (WX); as well as our core technology solutions including ServiceNow, Akumina/SharePoint, Sitecore, and others that may be added.
  • Utilizes existing sales and marketing collateral to prepare for new business presentations.
  • Manages a pipeline and adjusts daily activity to meet forecasted target numbers.
  • Attends regular sales and staff meetings.

What We’d Like to See:

  • Must be located in the U.S. 
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited institution.
  • 5 years of B2B sales/business development experience, selling Digital and Business Consulting Services and solutions into senior director or executive level at mid-large sized companies.
  • Experience in selling services for SaaS products such as ServiceNow, Sitecore, Microsoft, Salesforce, Digital Workplace Experience platforms, Customer Experience/Digital Marketing platforms, or Content Management Systems required.
  • Previous Digital Consulting Services experience required.
  • Proven business development and selling experience with a consultative sales method.
  • A positive attitude and team player.
  • Ability to respond creatively, quickly and effectively to clients’ needs and issues.
  • Ability to negotiate and concisely communicate both in writing and verbally, complex concepts/business issues to clients and management.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities/projects and develop business relationships.
  • A drive to build the business with a high level of enthusiasm and the capacity to overcome obstacles.
