We are looking for a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team! You'll be performing all tasks associated with industrial painting and blasting operations. These include paint surface preparation, masking off of applicable surfaces, paint application and following all environmental compliance requirements. Duties include manipulation of equipment utilizing cranes, monitoring neutralization systems, daily maintenance and cleanup of equipment and high attention to detail to ensure a quality finish is applied.
First shift working 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Essential Responsibilities:
These duties and responsibilities are not exhaustive and will be supplemented as necessary.
- Mixes and applies all types of paint and makes adjustments to achieve a quality paint job.
- Touch-up where needed to correct any faults.
- Maintains painting equipment and area.
- Preps materials to be painted by taping, washing, or using other approved methods.
- Maintains inventory of paint equipment and notifies Supervisor of shortages.
- Observe all environmental, health and safety rules.
- Maintain regulatory environmental records
- Ensure proper operation of Neutralization System and Paint Booth
- Operation of bead and shot blasting equipment
- Assembly of components and equipment
- Performs any additional duties as assigned by your Supervisor
- Understand KanBan and Source
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Technical School graduate or 2 years of related job experience
- Another 1 - 2 years of bead/shot blasting field experience
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, safety shoes, and respirator)
Desired:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Hoist/Crane Experience
