Summary

A successful shipping associate is well-organized and excels in communication. They must be comfortable with paperwork and information systems and have great knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.

• Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment
• Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies
• Utilize WMS and Shipping Software to create labels and International Shipping paperwork
• Verify labels and paperwork match orders
• Safely fold and seal boxes and inserts to pack delicate flower arrangements to arrive intact to our customers
• Work with drivers on packaging arrangements for hand delivery
• Verify all required literature is included in each shipment
• Restock shipping area with supplies daily
• Resolve shipping changes and issues with customer service in a timely manner
• Create and issue to customer a Return Material Authorization (RMA) tag
• Notify management of any shortages or production errors
• All other reasonable duties assigned
