As our Electrician, you'll be responsible for providing the technical expertise to safely plan and perform electrical work for residential solar projects.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assemble all components of a residential solar system
- Work with the crew and complete Photovoltaic system installs (PV)
- Follow safe work practices and ensure that the work is performed in a workmanlike manner, compliant with all State and local codes and standards
- Follow OSHA, NEC, AHJ and Utility requirements
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues
- Provide quality customer service throughout the installation
- Document work by taking pictures and completing work orders
- Upload photos and update job status in the company database when work is complete
- Strong knowledge and experience of conduit bending (EMT) ability to consistently produce quality work
- Journeyman Electrician Licensed Required
- Qualified to drive a company vehicle during the workday
- Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experience
- Strong knowledge of current NEC codes
- Must maintain a valid driver's license
- Use time prioritization skills to achieve required timelines
- Ability to read and interpret single and three-line drawings
- High school diploma, GED
- Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Use fingers to grasp, move, or assemble very small objects
- Make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls
- Stand, walk, or run for long periods of time
- Climb ladders, scaffolds, or poles
- Repeatedly kneel, stoop, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, crawl, or reach out
- See details of objects that are less than a few feet away
- See differences between colors, shades, and brightness
- Determine the distance between objects
- While looking forward, see objects or movements that are off to the side
- Hold the arm and hand in one position or hold the hand steady while moving the arm
- Move two or more limbs together (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while remaining in place
- Use stomach and lower back muscles to support the body for long periods of time
- Keep or regain the body's balance or stay upright when in an unstable position
- React quickly using hands, fingers, or feet
- Understand the speech of another person
- Use muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects
- Lift 50 pounds
