Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to act in the role of Business Analyst, to support the company’s growing IT Operation’s needs. Highly organized and confident in ability to coordinate projects within set deadlines, organizing and coordinating meetings. Ongoing cooperation with other departments and a range of internal and external stakeholders. This role will work with multiple technologies to address challenging IT issues in fast-paced, dynamic, and rapid-growth environment. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships throughout IT, while delivering timely, viable solutions. This position is based in the Arlington, Virginia office.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day aspects of IT Operations projects (may include multiple projects) with regard to scope, schedule, resources, and budget
• Manage project budget, invoices, and be able to document and work with spreadsheet (deep understanding and excellent excel skills is required)
• Facilitates the collection and presentation of budget and invoice data, analyze budgetary trends, and identify risks within cost, schedule etc.
• Assist with the review of purchase request packages for commitment submissions
• Participate in planning with IT Operations
• Provide customer input represented in both technical and business terms with descriptive requirements to ensure the value of the project is realized
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and accordinlgy apprises the leadership about the budgetary changes needed
• The ideal candidate will be able to analyze large and complex budgetary data; apply critical problem-solving skills and proactively develop creative solutions; and effectively communicate budgetary issues, strategies, and recommendations
• Create end user and internal IT Operations team documentation
• Document and communicate project status, issues, and risks in a timely manner to team and senior management
• Assist in developing annual budget plans, spend plans and budget justifications
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• 3 years’ experience in IT focused projects or equivalent is required.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel
• Outstanding oral & written communications skills and an ability to articulate complex information in a simplified manner.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Project Management software, preferably Celoxis.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly & concisely to disparate audiences.
