We are currently looking for a Technical Project Managers with experience in medical device design and development that want to help us change lives.

What Does It Take To Do This Job?

• Experience as a technical project manager
• An attitude of doing whatever it takes to accomplish the project objectives
• A detailed knowledge of ISO 13485
• A familiarity with software and electrical design and development processes
• Mastery of the tools used in technical project management: Scheduling, Gantt charts, Customer communication and management, Jira, Project, etc.
• Nice to haves: Previous medical device engineering experience, a demonstrated ability to manage small teams

Requirements

What Will I Do? 

• Because we are an engineering services company and a medical device manufacturer, our work varies based on our project load.
• As a project manager, you will be responsible for the following:
• Translate proposals to phased deliverables
• Identify and engage resources needed to accomplish the project
• Lead the technical team to define and schedule project milestones
• Align project tasks with scheduled milestones
• Interface with the customer to refine the schedule, work through obstacles and negotiate project changes
• Communicate with Velentium operations and finance teams to trigger invoices and project change notices
• Manage a team of 10 engineers assigned to your projects. As manager, you will conduct employee reviews, work with Velentium technical directors to identify employee growth and training goals, and work with HR to develop staff improvement plans
• Assist the Velentium operations team to define and create processes to improve our efficiency and capabilities.
• You will be instrumental in bringing life changing medical therapies to market and change the lives of people all over the world
