About this role

As the HR Generalist, you will be responsible for running the daily operations of the HR Department for our Center of Excellence in Tulsa, Oklahoma including HR administration, employee relations, benefits enrollment, performance management, onboarding and adherence to company practices. You will report directly to the Director of People Operations, and work in collaboration with our leaders providing HR expertise and participating in a variety of HR initiatives for the organization.

Our customers are auto repair and collision locations as well as new and used dealerships, where we provide management systems, payment services, communications tools, scheduling modules as well as accounting and finance packages.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handle employee relations issues within your specified division as the primary point of contact.
  • Administer and answer questions regarding benefits and open enrollment.
  • Maintain employee records and handle questions regarding our HRIS, Paycom.
  • Partner with the recruiting team to onboard new employees seamlessly.
  • Ensure company practices and programs are applied consistently across the organization.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes in human resources and employment law.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Familiarity with HR software, Paycom preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills; keen attention to details.

Education and Experience:

  • 3 years of progressive experience in an HR role.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
