A Business Analyst I conducts portfolio analysis and gathers essential data into reports which can be shared with managers & stakeholders. The role requires interacting across multiple teams bringing meaningful insights & creative solutions to light. Additionally, the Business Analyst I supports management in the identification, proposition and implementation of new and improved business systems and processes. The analyst will work with a team of resources in the elicitation and collection of current policy and procedures, business requirements, discovery of operational efficiency improvements, workflow design, documentation, education and adherence monitoring work efforts.

What Youll Do:
Work closely with subject matter experts to identify business needs & define projects
Interpret business needs & translate them into application & operational requirements that technical developers can understand
Communicate cost/benefit of recommendations to all levels of management
Maintain daily, weekly & monthly operational reports using them to make recommendations for process efficiencies & developing new business strategy
Analyze & audit revenue, billing, and operational reports to ensure the company is maximizing its revenue and efficiency potentials.
Exhibit strong decision making skills that can be translated into a decision matrix for others to follow
Ensure processes are functioning as designed through development of control reports
Produce written documentation to support work throughout project life cycle & for future training
What Qualifies You:
Highly analytical with educational background related to finance, accounting, mathematics or business management; Bachelors degree preferred
Experience extracting & manipulating large data sets
Excellent oral & written communication skills
Ability to maintain elevated level of confidentiality while working with sensitive financial information
Works independently managing deadlines & multiple priorities
Proficient use of MS Office or G-Suite applications with knowledge of advanced functions in Excel
Knowledge of basic BI tools (Salesforce, Tableau, Qlik, Spotfire, etc) is a plus!
