Netsuite Technology Functional Analyst

Veev has developed a vertically integrated approach that involves multi-disciplinary collaboration across real estate, design, development, engineering, manufacturing, and construction.
The Role
Veev is looking for a Netsuite Technology Functional Analyst. In this position, you will be responsible for the system configuration and setup of the global ERP solution. You will work closely with the global Operations and Finance team as well as cross functional stakeholders in the company HQ, to create business requirements and translate those into sustainable, robust and scalable technical solutions.
You will lead the roll-out, training and successful adoption of new developed functions, and collaborate on a day to day basis with the global finance team.
The successful candidate must have a passion for helping small sized businesses find creative ways to use NetSuite to more effectively run their businesses.
Responsibilities
  • Facilitate business process mapping and requirements gathering sessions with clients to determine NetSuite system requirements
  • Implement and configure NetSuite to address business needs and processes, including system setup, financial and operational capabilities such as Chart of Accounts and advanced accounting configuration, inventory management, manufacturing, warehouse management, fulfillment, fixed asset management, manufacturing business process, MRP, etc.
  • Build reports, saved searches and dashboards that provide comprehensive and forward-looking Business Intelligence
  • Setup, configure and customize Oracle NetSuite ERP based on the business needs by creating custom forms, custom fields, custom records, Establish test cases and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with core client stakeholders to ensure system configuration objectives have been met
  • Create training/support documentation, and drive end-user training to promote user adoption
  • Manage the production deployment processes, ensuring a seamless software launch and continuity of business operations
  • Work and communicate effectively with cross-functional team members

  • Providing technical expertise in the area of NetSuite and custom integrated software configuration, customization and technical management
  • Helping ensure tracking Change Management in all Business Application platforms
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business management, engineering or other related fields.
  • 5 years experience with Netsuite or other ERP solutions.
  • Ability to translate customer business requirements into business solutions, either as a software solution or a re-engineering initiative
  • Finance & Accounting experience including GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Intercompany, Cost Accounting, Cash Management and GL Consolidation - Advantages
  • Understanding of COGS, Intercompany in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent client management skills and the ability to execute on an implementation plan
  • Good understanding of Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Project to Cash and Design to Build functionality with Netsuite - Advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and optimize manufacturing operations and processes.
  • Experience as a key user or subject matter expert in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Project management & presentation skills are seen as an asset
  • NetSuite Administrator or ERP Consultant certification preferred
  • Prior exposure to Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) modules is advantageous.
